    Hi All
going to see the above dishwasher, the customer reports that she has filled the salt container twice in as many washes but the salt indicator stays on continuously also the glasses are coming out cloudy and generally the wash is poor, any thoughts on this please

I’m not sure the whole truth has come out on this one?

A salt container carries over a kilo of salt a fill and no way would 2 washes flush it out. Bl**dy hell that would be like trying to wash a plate in the Dead Sea. No wonder the glasses are cloudy and only good for taking a shot of tequila from I guess?

Only rarely does the regeneration valve fail and as for the salt reed switch, they never fail as far as I’m aware?

First test when you get there, remove the salt cap and water should flow out of it into the tub. If it doesn’t? Chances are the cap was either not secured properly or there’s something else wrong with the machine and fuff all to do with the water softener.

I bet the water inlet transfer pipe and pressure chamber are bunged up more like?:rolls:
