Got a NEFF double oven (U1721N2GB) and the fan is catching on the backplate (went from making a noise to mot turning very quickly).

Any easy way to free it or does it need a new motor/fan.

Has been rumbling for a little while so I guess the bearings have given up.

If it is a case of a new fan/motor then don’t suppose anyone knows which of the two options listed in the shop is correct for this model ?

Also tried to remove the fan but the nut is very tight – got some movement but not much- could have been the fan slipping on the shaft (if that is possible)

    Thanks in advance

Only proper solution is to replace it. You need the THIS chappie to sort it.

The fan nut is a left hand thread. Even with the nut off, some extreme force may be required. Baked grease is far stronger than super glue……..

    Power off first, please.
