This is the newer type vented dryer, had total blocked vent, cleared all fluff from front to rear. (In high use in health club. only 15 months old)
once cleared didnt restart, later on they manage to to use it, but then goes dead again wait a while between 30min to 1hour starts again, but no set time. The previous model had the same problem and was changed over under warrenty.
    any advice please. John

I don’t know this model But is it a “Full Commercial” or “Semi Commercial” ? I have had similar problems in the past with the older “semi” commercials.
Mine was also replaced under warrenty by the supplier. When the second machine started to play up. (It took a while, presumably because there was a nice motor) I contacted Whirlpool they informed me that not only were semi’s not intended for commercial use but were only intended to give the domestic user the benefits of a commercial machine. ie large drum etc, ect.

The upshot to all of this is, that the motors are under-rated for commercial use, and when buying one of these, the customer should contact Whirlpool for advice on the model that suits their cycle rate. That is to say how many times the machine will be used Per Week So in my particular case, the machine was designed to do 15 loads a week, and the small hotel was doing 4/5 loads per day. ie 28/35 loads per week.

If you have a similar situation, then changing the TOC or even the motor is not going to help. You will need to upgrade the motor if possible. In my case the small hotel bought a second machine and stopped washine on a Sunday………. Not had any problems since.
