Not had it for too long (2 years) and haven’t used it much either, but it has started to develop a weird problem. The heating system works fine, as it does get warm inside, with or with out the clothes. It is making a noisey grinding noise and starts and stops, regardless which programme you put it on. If you want further information, please let me know. Thanks again Jaspal. Also the cooling fans come loose, the stats fail, the jockey pulley breaks up, the capacitor often fails etc. etc. But then Hotpoint has been owned by Indesit for 6 years and sadly this is the norm. 😥 Physical examintion is the only way forward, with the mains plug out of course.
