    Hi All
    My son has a Diplomat ADP8322 dishwasher,and the detergent door will not open during the cycle,anyone got any ideas,the machine is about 2 yrs old.
    I am a retired engineer so not afraid to have a go

    You’ll need a new soap dispenser in all probability as they are only supplied as a complete assembly.

    before u buy a new dispencer check the connection block to dispencer has not moved out of its socket,
    you will find that is the problem most of the time on this model.

    Hi Karv,where is the connection block,is it near the dispencer door or in the main body of the m/c

    connection block on the dispener inside of door on left hand side of dispencer, normaly there a tiny hook holding it in and the little block has comes out like 3 mm ,

    That was it, Fixed,the connector had worked out,hope this helps someone else.
