    Got this double oven 059040437 with wobbly grill regulator shaft. Replaced regulator 33ER9MHT still no front panel lamp/live to the grill element. tapped the main clock and the pcb that controls the fan and when repowered grill burst into life. could not get it to go faulty again. Is it more likely to be the relay on the clock or the pcb that controls the fan causing this problem? Element is ok.

    I’ve had one of these that had a loose reg. shaft, it turned out to be burnt wiring on the door switch.

    Went out to one today 720EF, had a door switch on the top door.It’s a microswitch on the r/h/s of the oven that makes/breaks on the top oven door arm. Im not sure if there are a big difference in variations of product no’ 😕 .

    OK went to a kitchen with a 720EF in it today. Also has wobbly regulator but working. Distinctly heard click when grill door opened and grill light behind facia comes on. The one i had the grill came on with the door closed but another engineer has attended before me so either he has removed the switch or it is stuck in the on position.
    Swerv is it just a standard 16A microswitch when customer rings me up again? 😆

    Returned today for melted switch. 😀 It worked all this time 😕
