Customer complaint of an F11 comms error fault.
Did a quick visual, couldn’t see any loose connections etc.
Motor brushes not quite gone but very well worn. Changed brushes and when switched on the display etc was completely dead, no lights at all.
Apparently it has been doing this for sometime, she just gives it a few hard knocks on the side and it the comes on. Needless to say she didn’t tell me that before I started. :rolls:
A few gentle taps on the control unit, selector switch etc and it lit up and proceeded to work perfectly.
Tried it on several programmes and it was fine, trouble is I don’t know which of my gentle taps did the trick.
Is there any particular area I should be looking at?
