    The freezer display on my Gorenje K357/2MELA (fridge/freezer) recently started flashing the error code E2. The freezer seems to still be working, food is still frozen. I’ve not had much luck finding out roughly what the error means so far. I contacted Gorenje, but they said they couldn’t find the code in the manual (manual apparantly says to call an engineer on any E messages).

    Does anyone have any idea of what the code E2 on the freezer may indicate?

    Hi

    This is showing a refrigerator evaperator sensor fault,This needs to be checked against a temp / resistance chart which may require the PCB to be replaced.

    And yes it is an engineer visit.

    Thanks for the response. Would you by any chance have any estimate on how much a replacement PCB part would cost? Is it worth the time to get it fixed or better off buying a new fridge/freezer?

    BTW, what is the Art number? Another sort of model number?
