After finishing a cleaning cycle all the lights went off and the machine will not start. There are no lights showing but there is still power .
Have fitted a new timer but still no lights showing.
    Any ideas???

Changing components without actually verifying that there is a circuit to said component is not the best way to proceed.

That said the control PCB is quite cheap on these machines, just like the rest of this Indesit made appliance actually :rolls:

With the machine unplugged you should use a meggar/multimeter to trace the circuit to the module. The door switch or the On/Off switch would be the first things to check.

have you tested circuit from plug to module/timer?, mains suppressor can give power problems

As a follow up. This is the second time it has faulted , first the heater element failed which was changed under warranty and now this power failure.
After reading a lot of the comments on this forum about this model is it worth splashing out more money on a crap piece of equipment?

    Fixed it.
Hope this is of help to anyone in a similar situation.
Timer pcb was burnt across the second power in terminal.
Burnt (blue) wire on the suppressor.
Working again but fear a new suppressor is the next item to be replaced.
