    Just need some advice as to whether I can fix this myself….

    6 year old daughter left some stones / pebbles in a coat pocket that went into the wash this morning. On the spin cycle, horrible noise – seems that there are some stones or pebbles in the drum. Is there any way I can get them out myself?

    I’ve taken the top and back off as well as the seal around the door but can’t find a way in 😥

    how old is it?

    because, depending, it could have a welded tub, and therein lies your problem

    theres only one other way, and thats through the heater, and thats on the back of the drum, under the drum pulley


    youll need to split the cabinet on the machine to get at it!
    make sure the plug is out, and be careful, theres some quite sharp edges!

    It is 2 years old.

    Seems like I will need to call out an engineer! Unless trying to go in through the heater is a matter of doing some screws?
