Wondered if anyone could help me with the dimensions of built-in Ovens. Pretty much every oven I check the details for lists a 595mm width – that seems to be a standard size. My current (and failing) oven has a door at that width, but the actual cavity that the oven sits in is more like 570mm. Just wondering if my oven is an exceptional size, and I’m going to find replacing it difficult, or whether the dimensions listed are for the door, rather than the body of the oven.
Re: New oven dimensions – door width, or cavity width?
Hi Sam
Internal cavity sizes are circa 570mm which is pretty much standard nowadays, old oven out and new one in. Outer dimensions of 595mm is indeed the door size.
