dishwasher smells of burning from bezel area, also sounds like relay rattling, could this be the pcb or is it the main wash motor causing the pcb to struggle?? 🙁

PCB; probably. Have had the capacitor motor cause a few problems, not the Askoll one. Check for dodgy connections.
