ParticipantHi
Have a bit of a layered problem with this one, I have searched but not found any solution.
First, I had 4 flashes error (a while into a program), cleaned the black drain detector switch. I have the whole thing open and the black thing all the way out to clean.
Then when I tried again, it did 6 flash error after taking in some water. Looking into it, there were water inside almost up to the door level. Holding start button pumps the water back out and turns off. Tried many times.
Reading about 6 flashes, I took off left panel, checked the little print board, cleaned the connector both on the print and in the other end at the control unit. No difference.
When taking in water however, I notice a strange sound, like every 10 seconds, it makes a hmm… how to describe… like it’s going to throw up sound, like schluuuuuppp. Can’t figure out if this is OK or where exactly it comes from. No water spills or anything.
Any ideas ?
Thanks

Check whether or not the microswitch on the water level indicator is working or not. 4 is no drain, 6 is no fill – all controlled by that microswitch.

Hi again. Water level indicator – is that the black 3’oclock grid thing ? That I have cleaned, and it clicks/switches easily when pushed by a fork or something.
Later yesterday I unmounted and remounted all the connectors and refitted them, as well as the drain pump (I think it is) – now it’s different again. Still 6 flashes, but before, it took in water for some time, then stopped, few secs, then flashes. Now it starts flashing right after starting taking in water, and continue with taking in water while it flashes… Thanks

Okay checked the microswitch with a multimeter – is OK… Fresh out of ideas. And worrying that the error situation keeps changing ! Don’t even know if my original 4-flash at end of rinse cycle has been solved since now it doesn’t get that far…

Maybe time for help? If it is the computer playing up, it can be a tricky one to call. Also remember that the flash count is the error code – if you’re getting ones other than 4 + 6, they mean different things.
