ParticipantMachine is about 3 years old, left some washing out overnight by mistake on saturday and so it got wet in sunday mornings rain.
So put it on a spin cycle and went out. When I came back I set it going on the 30 min drying cycle and after that had finished i went take it out and it was still very wet. Thought it was a bit odd so thought there might be a problem with the spin only program and put it through a quick wash.
After that had finished I noticed that the machine still had a lot of water in it. Tried the drain option and apart from a few click sounds nothing is pumped out.
So after checking a few other threads I’ve had the black drain hose off (drum side and pump side) and there are no blockages. I’ve also had a meter on the pump and wires from the circuit board and my rudimentary electrical skills tell me all is fine with both.
In between trying various cycles there was also a brief error code flashing up on the front but i cant remember which lights were flashing before I switched it off.
Anyone got any ideas before I call out an engineer?

Have you checked the grey outlet pipe, is it connected directly into the sink waste?
You also need to remove the pump completely and check for small obstructions inside it such as hairgrips or small pieces of bra wire etc.Jim.

the outlet pipe is (i believe) clear as i was able to drain the machine into a bowl and the water flowed easily.
I’ll have a go at removing the pump. From memory it looks like it connects to the base of the casing, are there holding screws underneath the machine?

No, just a small plastic lug that has to be depressed upwards then slide the pump to the left.

Jim, thanks for your advice. I took out the pump and found a load hair and fluff that had bound around the impeller. I guess it had built up and stopped it from spinning effectively.
