indesit wil163 ,4hr timer delay led constantly on

hi folks , stuck the wash/machine on yesterday to do a wash , it filled up as normal and started its cycle. after about 15 mins the thing chucked it. it wont do a dam thing.. as i said above the only led lit is the 4hr timer delay…( the door lock led is off )
i managed to manually drain the machine and check the filter, all seems fine there.. after reading thru various posts , it looks like the good ol italian electrics have went on early retirement. so i was wondering if any1 could confirm this led fault code so i know whether to get an engineer to look at it or go and get another machine ( had this 1 two and a half years ).
any help would be mega .
