    Hi guys.

Has anybody had a problem with securing the pcb to the bezel?.

I`ve got one where there appears to be no obvious securing point on left side therefore allowing the pcb to move out of position and those stupid light lenses move and fall away.

I`ve tried a new bezel but its exactly the same as the original.

    Can anybody offer any help.

    Thanks.

    Chris.

Where you say ‘light lenses’, it makes it sound as if they are all seperate. They should be all together as one part.

I made the same mistake once. hth

I had one of these built in jobs with the light lenses seperate a while ago.I just dabbed a bit of glue on them to hold them in place so I could line it all up.I can’t remember having problems with the pcb. Does it just clip in or was there a screw holding it in place.

I had the same problem on one of these where the cust had pushed so hard on the button that the board had fallen into the facia. Spent ages trying to get idividual light lenses to stay in place while fitting the board back onto its very flimsy, crap, badly designed mounting. Ended up glueing the lenses in and when all back together, the whole board still moved when you pressed the buttons. Rubbish!

I have come across this also. The light bezels should be all one piece, and are dead awkward to line up when broken.. To stop the board moving, I held it in place with a small tie wrap, ok, not the done thing, but never the less effective. I can’t remember if I had to drill a small hole in the corner of the board for the tie wrap to go through, or if the hole was already there, but it worked. Steve

I had one of these the other day. I had to down tools and go because the lenss were broken and then the plastic button finger thing broke. LOL what are the odds of that? Bloody thing. I think the next time i order a pcb for one of these i will order up a set of the silly lenses too. Must be the heat that makes them brittle and yep, they are a swine to line up. For the reccord, there is a screw in there to hold it all in place.
