ParticipantHi,
our dishwasher stopped working today – actually, it seems to start
running fine but after a washing cycle it stops with indicator 4 flashing
and dishes still dirty (and cold). After a search on the forum i learned that this is not an unusual problem
and to solve it I most likely need a new PCB (the resistance across the
heating element (with/without thermistor) is ~27). I understand that
there are different PCBs and i was wondering which one is the right one.
The S/N is 51114 3338 (type: LS12-EVOS). Could you please give me
advice on that? And there is one more thing that i was wondering: as i was checking
connections, i realized that there was mains voltage on the heating
element (of course, with the machine being switched on) but it is not
heating. So current is not flowing through, the switch/regulator must
be “after” the heating element. Is that normal, desing related? Or is
it related to the fault? Many thanks

Four flashes is no heat detected in the time allowed. Turn the power off and do the basics. The heater is a weak spot on these machines. It should show a resistance of between 20-30ohms when split from the circuit. Power is supplied directly from the pcb, so if the heater reads out OK, your problem lies there.

ParticipantMany thanks for the prompt reply.
Resistance of the heater is 27 Ohm. So this must be the PCB.
Can you advice how/where can i find out which PCB i need
for my model (DI 620UK, serial Nr.: is 51114 3338)?Thanks again,
