    Hi there

I hope Im in the right place. I have a zanussi oven & it has one of those glass ceramic hob thingys. 🙂

It works fine but the glass bit has come unstuck from the oven somehow and is now on a slant and lifting higher and higher on one side.

Is there some sort of glue that I could use on it to seal it back down?

    Thanks …Paula

There are high temperature bonding agents available. It might help if you posted the model number or pNc of your appliance – that way we might be able to look at the etch info on the machine and see how complex a repair might be.

Looks like a tricky one. The glass is bonded to the top surround. A proper repair would involve removing the entire top and fully separating the glass from the frame. It all has to be thoroughly de-greased and THIS STUFF applied liberally. Might be worth buying two tubes….. Weight the whole lot together for at least 24 hours using Encyclopedia Brittanica to ensure a good bond.

    Good luck!
