    I’ve been kindly lent an ISE5 until my ISE10 arrives. Can anyone please tell me if the Intensive 40 and 60 cycles include a prewash?

    I really like the machine, clothes are coming out softer than they have been in ages and it’s really easy to use. I expected clean, but I didn’t expect soft, which I suppose is down to the machine rinsing out everything that the old machine didn’t 😯 If the ISE10 is an improvement on this then I’m going to be really spoiled.

    I know the cotton 60 symbol with the bath under it is a prewash along with the synthetic 40 programme.

    Mine doesn’t have symbols on the dial, it just has numbers and words. There are two settings on the dial labelled Intensive 40 and 60. I was curious about how they differ to the other 40 and 60 settings.
