Hi
Check resistor “R1 ” along opposite side to the connector blocks , near the edge of the can . These go open its 42ohm 2watt.
When this resistor blows machine is dead.

thanks guys for the reply. when switched on the power light comes on . and when you set the timer to any of the programs and press the start button one of the lights light the one with the tub symbol. but will not start the program. at that point should the door not be locked. does any one know which wire is which on the interlock .
when you put the dial back to 0 to reset and switch off and then switch on again. you can here a click coming from the board i read if the board is faulty even replacing it can run you into trouble other than a dry joint.
could the programmer be faulty ie dial. is there any way to test it does the interlock run through the pcb. or throught the program dial sorry for all the questions 😳 as i have to go back tomorrow its a one parent family and would like to sort it . fasetester

Hi
Interlock is through the PCB so it could be faulty PCB, also make sure that none of the buttons is stuck in as this can stop machine from programming.

I have had a few like this take the front pcb off and one of the buttons will be stuck in no option lights should come on unless you select them if it wont turn off then it will be stuck in causing the machine not to start.

Fase,
forget about the door lock at the mo!
do as suggested, take off the front board and check the switches arent sticking or breaking off the board.
the brushes go back in just as you would the bosch maxx range!
whilst your there get the part number off the main board, it will be on the label. 546089200 or something like that.
If it was R1 resistor at fault there would be no lights on at all. so forget that at the mo!
breathe!
