WMA1512W. Customer complained that washes are now taking a lot longer (2 1/2 hours). I initially checked the heater, NTC etc which were OK. On trying the machine I found it was over-filling, though I switched off before it stopped filling as it was well over half way up the glass. I checked the pressure vessel and hose which were OK. I blew into the hose and there was only one click from the pressure switch. When it was draining I heard the pressure switch click. Also, when filling the drum starts to agitate after a minute or so, suggesting that a given water level has been detected. I took a pressure switch from a scrap machine and that also only made one click although further investigation with the meter reveals there are 2 levels, the second being silent. Is this second level for control or is it an emergency level?

test pressure hose by blocking one end, and blowing in other end whilst immersing half of hose in water. look for bubbles[leaks]. reverse hose, and test other half. use spare length of hose to operate pressure switch by mouth when machine is filling. does filling stop? Use at least one meter of hose to keep yourself away from live machine.

there are feeds from the module to the pressure switch on this, if the pressure switch is clicking as its filling then i would think that its timed after that from the module, which aint no good if the water pressure is very high.
