have just tried the suggested removal process in viewtopic.php?f=33&t=24486
as my machine has the same pump.
No joy- the pump can be wiggled slightly but has not loosened, is there a trick to removal from this model or is it just brute force?
I have seen another post where is was suggested to undo the 3 screws to remove the pump. i have done this and managed to remove the pump.
I found that the impeller was loose, so have resat it and reconnected it up – now when it tries to empty i get the ‘E20’ error.
I may have connected the wires in reverse, would this cause the error or is the pump knackered ?
If the impeller is loose or falling off you will need a new pump. E20 is a “no drain or drain time – out” fault. A new one should be easily available from Shop @ in the left menu column. Or click the ‘Find a spare part’ banner below.
New pump arrived from shop@ this afternoon – now fitted and working.
The way to remove the pump is to find the 2 lugs in the plastic base of the machine just where the grey part of the pump is.
Force the nose of a largish set of snubbed nose pliers in between the lugs to separate them. This will allow you to pull the pump straight down to release it.
