F&P GW708U problem

    Hello, I have a Fisher and Paykel GW708U.

    When I start the machine it will fill with water correctly, and go through the wash cycle correctly. However once it gets to either the Rinse or Spin cycles the machine completely empties the water and then sits there and sort of vibrates and wont start the rinse.

    As per the sticky I put the machine into Diagnostic mode and got error 40 (101000). Any help you could give me would be very much appreciated. 😀

    4/Check pressure tube has not kinked or come off
    5 Could be a matter of a faulty motor controller(PCB)

    Yes there are alot of possible causes for this fault code

    Thanks for the quick response!

    I just went and lifted the bowl, and that seems ok, so I guess it must be one of the other problems.
