    Hi,

    I have a Hotpoint Mistral Plus 8596P fridge/freeezer. I am getting the error code E8 for my fridge compartment. Would anyone know what this error code represents?

    Evaporator thermistor has packed in. Fit THIS to rectify the problem.

    Power off first.

    Many thanks Penguin 45. I will order this now and hopefully get it sorted. I am assuming that the Part goes into the area behind the panel in the Freezer.

    yep, and theyre colour coded, so you cant go wrong!
