Hi,I have a problem with a combi-fridge freezer where the larder section cycles normally (although a little too warm) on its stat but the freezer section has stopped working altogether.
there is a secondary stat for the bottom freezer but the contacts are “closed ” and i’m wondering is there a solenoid buried in the insulation?
i also noticed a tiny heater in the larder section which i guess compensates for excessive cooling when the freezer has’nt yet reached setpoint temperature but the larder has?
can’t find a schematic so any help would be great.Re: Freezer stopped working? hotpoint RF64P
dude it sounds like the freezer stat has bitten the dust. also there is a timer at the rear of these, so check that aswell.
