Hi ,Im wondering if you can help..I have a beko DE 3431 FW dishwasher about 2 years old, currently it is not heating up the water and not accepting the washer tablet. I have read about others having a trip button, but cant see one on this model. It is only a cold water feed ,so my question is ,,is it the thermostat, control board or is it an easy fix…Any help is apprieciated as times are hard… 😆 and i dont want to wash up on xmas day…

Meter the element and see if it’s open circuit first. 😉

    Hi Simon,

It’s in the bottom as it is on most dishwashers.

It should, if memory serves, be a tubular heater on that machine which is this one even although the model isn’t listed against it.

seemed more worth while to bump tis thread instead of opening a new one since my issue is identical and this was never fully resolved.

I have metered the element and it is showing as fine, what is this reset switch mentioned above?

any advice on what the next step would be please? (i’m trying to locate the thermostat, but cant find it, nor can i get the front panel off despite removing the four screws!?)
