ParticipantHi.
have this and the “check water” light comes on after 10 seconds then continues to fill until the red float in the side chamber floats and sets the pump running then pump/fill every couple of seconds. The level is up to the top of filter when the light comes on. I have checked for airlock, blockages etc and even had the thing running three times out of about 15 tries.
Any ideas gratefully accepted.
Thanks

Well first up the pressure chamber (red float) needs either a darn good clean or, as I always carry several on the van, simply replace the unit! 😉
Then the transfer pipe from there to the sump inlet is always the likely culprit for getting gunged up and always must be cleaned out thoroughly.
Finally, and if all of the above are OK, then the Impellor Jug (424099) is the reason behind the error light doing a wobbly, change that and you’re all done!…. 8)

Thanks lads,
What is the jug? The housing for the cycling pump?. Can this be cleaned without dismantling the whole thing or is it a strip down as I’ve never done that before and need a few tips.

Its a white plastic impellor device fitted between the inlet valve and the water inlet matrix. You have the part number. 😉

thanks guys, i was just about to put up a thread on this as i’ve got two integrated machines with this problem both of which came in together. i suspected that this device might be the culprit, i assume the theory is similar to the flow meter on a whirlpool dishy.
thanks again i’ll post back the results once parts are fitted.December 11, 2008 at 7:40 pm #271127PINKY
