    Hi, I have a problem with the top oven of my AEG Competence 5212 BU double oven. After about 15 mins of heating up it turns itself off and then after about 30 mins of cooling it gets down to about 100 degres C and it starts to heat up again. This cycle is repeated. Any ideas about the fault ?

    Cooling fan running?

    Yes cooling fan does run okay.

    Probably the safety cutting out then. This is p/no 3115190-07/0 – the rear one mounted next to the cooling fan.

    spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get one for you quickly if you think that that is the problem.

    Power off before sticking fingers in…….

    Thanks for the advice….is that part (safety cut out) easy to fit ?
