hi need some advice i am thinking about splashing out on a steam washing machine lg and whirlpool make them.
are they good or is this going to be throwing money away,i used to spend about £600 on a machine thinking it would last longer but it died at 14 mths motor went it was a whirpool.
so opinions please.Re: steam washing machine ??
It’s a gimmick in my opinion, there’s been no evidence presented to support it actually works.
Apparently it does reduce creasing slightly but don’t expect to not be ironing your shirts anytime soon. 😉

I must admit to not knowing a lot about the steam wahers apart from the odd trade article, I have never even been asked for one either.
That apart £600 is an extremely good sized budget. The Miele range will always be at the top of most peoples list as the brand to go for. The Prestige W1613 will come into your price range, it will have a two year warranty at the moment ( but may change in January to 5 years ) however as previously reported on this site you are locked into Miele providing the spares which are very highly priced compared to some of the others out there.
Another way would be the ISE concept you have the ISE5 1600 spin AAA rated with a full five-year warranty and the ISE10 1600 spin AAA rated with a full 10-year warranty available here
