We’ve had our Zanussi Electrolux TC7102S condenser tumble drier for about 4 years and it suddenly seems to be taking a really long time to dry clothes. We have cleaned the condenser thoroughly and the external filters. It is still hot when it is drying but just seems to be less efficient suddenly. Any advice would be welcome please.
Take the door filter out and look down inside the door. Very often we find the door cavity to be almost blocked by fluff that falls off the filter as it is drawn upwards and out of the door. To clean the door cavity, use a feather duster or a thin stick / long ruler with a cloth over the end and push the fluff down to the bottom of the door where you can retrieve it (and the cloth) easily.
