    My kenwood ck440 oven will not heat above 150 degrees what is the cause of this

    what do i need to fix it

    Thermostat most likely but I’d check it first and check the elements for continuity so you know they’re good.

    Have you checked the bottom element as this is quite common fault.

    What do you mean by the bottom element is that the one around the fan

    No.

    Can’t claim to be familiar with the oven, but the general scenario with “multi function” ovens is that you can select fan oven heating, or convection with fan. In the latter mode, the oven uses an element under the floor of the oven and the outer loop of the grill element to provide heat – if one of these (low powered) elements fails, you simply haven’t got enough heat being generated…….
