I have a problen with my Beko dishwasher. It sticks in the middle of the rinse cycle and the timer won’t move on unless I edge it forward a notch. I assumed it was a broken timer switch and so have replaced this, but it still does the same thing. I wondered if it was some kind of sensor in the machine that was not activating, but don’t know where to begin on this. I’ve cleaned the machine out to see if something is blocked up, but no change. Caqn anybody help and point me in the right direction please?

It’s me back again – according the stats I’ve had 90 visits but no solutions, and now my problem seems to have changed or gotten worse.
Having gone away for Christmas, I’ve come back to find my machine has now completely stopped heating the water, but now runs through the timer rapidly – very fast in comparision to usual, and even past the original sticking point to its stage, but now I have no heat!!!
Being a novice, I though my heater element had gone, so ordered a new one and fitted it, but it makes no difference at all.
I’m loathed to scrap the machine! I’ve read various other similar posts that seem to relate to dry solder joints on the PCB, but that seems scary to me. That nice Mr Penguin 45 seems to know what he’s talking about, but he isn’t biting the bait on my problem. Penguin – if you’re out there – please help!

    Thermostats?

    Wiring?

Worth checking both before you go any farther with it.

The problem is that Beko dishwashers are relatively new, they only started them a couple of years ago so there’s limited knowledge on them as yet.

Please also keep it to one thread per problem as it saves confusion, thanks.

To be honest, I don’t see a lot of these.

I would start by having a look at the temperature sensor – this is a “finger” poking through the base of the machine. It connects to a small pcb in the console panel and should give a reading in kOhms, slowly falling with heat.

P/no 1884400100 if you choose to replace it.

    Stay safe, power off first.
