Bosch HB48074GB/01 (oven)

    Customer tells me the temprature is working Intermittently, sets temp to 180degs then after a while the digital displays shows 150degs, food not cooking properly, there is no thermostat showing on bosch dia.
    as this has a digital display I expect there may be a sensor !! can anyone confirm this, and will just the sensor need replacing or/and the digital temp readout unit as well.

    Is that number complete John ? Thats a Siemens model number……if its Bosch , it should have a 3rd letter after the HB .

    Don’t think the digital clock/display unit will be faulty – PTC sensor is 173668 – £48odd + VAT from BSH if available

    I must admit to having never seen one of these ovens as it looks like its got a rectangular rear element….which is a new one on me !!!

    Have you been to look at the oven John . I’d be looking at maybe door hinges or slow fan .

    Paul, have asked about hinges, but not checked fan yet..but will do .Thanks for your help John.
