    Hi soz can anyone help ? I’m no good at reading codes Ie flashing lights , have a hotpoint Wf 240 which was working fine before I retightened bottom block , now I get energy save light flashing, with on off button going as well , can some help please ? thanks Alan

    If you give the left hand flashing light by number from top down it makes it easy for us and you 😉

    F08 – heater relay fault – replace pcb.

    if your no good at reading flashing lights ie fault codes might be worth a career change 😆 coz the flasy light fault codes are here to stay me thinks.

    I’d try the pressure switch first. I’ve had a couple of F08’s recently that have been cured with new switches. Alot cheaper than than the pcb as well.

    Yup. Check heater and wiring, NTC and wiring, p/sw and wiring – THEN replace the pcb. Cheap enough from EMW and will see out your guarantee period.

    Just junk, really.

    I know we joked about it on the last thread you gave us but I suspect you may not have sussed the link to “THE ERROR CODES THREAD”? But within that thread it explains that you need to count the respective LED’s (those shown left to right and others from the top to the bottom) in order to translate the error code from those listed. 😉
