I have a aquarius VTD00 which runs for a couple of minutes then stops. The timer keeps running and the drum springs back into life after about 5 minutes.

When it should be running can you hear a buzzing/humming noise. If you can then it may be a capacitor failure.
If it tumbles in one direction then stops for five minutes then tumbles in the same direction again then it would suggest the control timer is faulty.
I would advise trying this test with the machine set to the last 10 minute cool down period. The safety stat will fail if you have the machine switched to heat without the motor running for a prolonged period.

definately a timer fault
dont use it, youll blow the thermostats
theres 2 timers for that model, need the serial number to get correct one
