I have just sold my first pair of ISE10’s. I stacked the dryer on top of the washer. However, they stand next to a boiler in a very small room, which gets very hot. It got me thinking. Does a high ambient temperature affect the operation of the condenser dryer, or any other make of condenser dryer.

It’ll make the room warmer but shouldn’t cause any issue beyond that that I can think on so long as there’s some ventilation to the room.

    Thanks for the reply

I did think the heat in the room might make the condenser too warm to condense the moisture in the airflow to water

It’d have to be very hot in there to do that and almost totally sealed, hence the caveat about some ventilation. In the end all dryers need a bit of air and, if it’s totally sealed in a little box room, it likely won’t work to spec as there will be no cool air to draw on.

I’m guessing from what you’ve said that it’s basically in a cupboard?

    Yes
But with a floor standing boiler next to the machines it really does make the room very hot. If I get any complaints, i will recomend to the customer to fit a fresh air vent, as you suggested

Thanks for your comments, and have a Happy Christmas
