    Hi all.

I normally work on Electrolux brand products but I have a friend who has a Whirlpool Dishwasher which comes up with a fault code of “F6”

It fills to level, starts to circulate the water for about a minute or so, then starts to drain & displays “F6”. I have metered out the tubular heater & that reads approx 25 Ohms so is ok.

What does “F6” represent & are there any common causes of this code.

    Many thanks.

If you actually bothered to apply for trade access, you could have a read of the Error Codes thread, which would answer your question. As this is a Public Forum, I can only tell you that he fault is no fill in the time allowed. Valve failure (possible) or Water Level Indicator failure (more likely) are the culprits. The WLI is probably choked with fat.
