bosh spin fault

    Hi Ya not having much luck with my whitegoods at the mo what with the cooker packing up just before xmas , now the washing machine it is a bosh exxcel 1000 and it will not spin at the end of the program ,it still had water in it so i drained it off from the pipe inside the little door & then it span again thought this was the problem but now it wont spin when used again Help??????????

    Is it now draining correctly, did you remove the pump filter to check for obstructions?

    Will the drum revolve at all when set to spin, ( you need to wait several seconds before it kicks in) ?

    Yes i removed the pump filter no obstructions ,it drians ok but will not spin. if it did not spin after wash you could get to spin turning the program knob onto spin but now this know longer works??

    If there is no drum movement whatsoever and the belt is in place then the motor brushes are the next thing to check.

    There is drum movement it goes through whole wash cycle but does not do final spin

    If the drum does revolve perfectly in wash mode with a full load then it does get a little more complicated. Could be blockages in the pressure switch system or even main PCB fault.

    It’s not sommat daft like rinse hold being on is it ???.
