    The light in the fridge does not go off so the fan does not come on.
    Took the switch out that is fine.
    Also the machine does not make that agnoying warning beep when the doors are open for more than 30sec.
    The freezer dept. is fine, light goes off fan comes on and makes beeping noise.

    Has anyone any ideas on this one as not seen this before on RS21?

    could only be 2 things

    1st cheap option door switch

    2nd module,
    cant think of any other component on this f/f that would cause this..

    Hi Bo

    I also would go for the door switch first ,have you metered from the board to door wiring ?But taking a second look it would sem to be going towards the board as its not giving the alarm.

    Have you maybe thought of fitting a 12v fan from a pc to remedy this problem ?

    Oooh

    Now we all know that wont work unless someone who doesnt know about electricity follows someones advise and connects to 240vac instead and it’ll certainly light up the inside of the fridge for them.. 😛 Wont keep the food cold though..but its a good way to kill all 3 things needed..

    warm the house up
    ready cooked meals
    lively fire display

    thanks for replying, I am sure its not the door switch, I metered it out and even bridged it out to be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure, I didnt meter from the board to the pcb though. Might have to pass this one to Samsung as dont want to order pcb.
