Participanthi i got this dryer gave me and as this is my first condensor dryer i need some help.the person who had it before me called someone out to look at it who put down to the thermostat which now its got none in.
ive got 2 questions to ask if somone can help
1. how do i know which thermostat kit i need ie blue dot,white dot etc etc
2.the guy said the water collector wasnt filling so he thought of a blocked pipe. i can blow down it with ease is there anything else to try?

is the right thermostat kit for your dryer
chances are, the pumps ont working, might be worth checking the pump function to clarify if the water is going into the container

Have you checked pump as Helo advised?

sorry about new thread i’m new to this forum stuff 😕
yes it is the right thermostat kit and ive just half filled the water tank where the pump is and the pump kicked in straightaway and water came into the tank at the top but it was empty to start with the tank where the pump is that is 🙂January 8, 2009 at 9:02 pm #273207helo_75
Participantif its warm and not drying, the condenser needs a good clean out, under a power shower, or a garden hose
