this is the first one i have done on these for a mate even worse.I have pulled it in the workshop to test the machine starts and runs for about 20 secs then gose to end there is no heat so i thought electronics must be picking up a heater fault finally got into the heater and it meters fine there is what looks like a thermistor which has a circuit but i dont know what it is supposed to read.are there any miele experts on here who can advise where to look next?

Machine senses (in auto programme) that there are no damp clothes in drum so doesn’t switch on heater. Try using “Timed drying” programme which should heat for selected time. The machine measures resistance between drum paddles & drum to detect moisture or the lack of it. If you take off the lid you will see a carbon brush running on a slip-ring around the drum outer that measures the resistance of the circuit.
