    does any know where i can get a cheap main pcb please.

    The display screen is not the main PCB. The console/display PCB can fail in this way but can also be due to main PCB failure.

    Not cheap, new boards available and you will need a smart card & a smart card reader on top of the cost of the board to configure the new board.

    Console PCB is around £73.00 ex vat.
    Main PCB £80.00 ex vat.
    Smart card £11.00 ex vat.
    Smart card reader £70.00 ex vat.

    If the machine is still under five years old I would strongly advise you to contact the Indesit Company and pay the £99.85 labour charge and get all the parts free.

    There are companies around that recon boards but using one of those would invalidate your parts warranty.

    hi, if its just the screen that slowly faded until it has gone black, & you can still set the machine to wash, then it will only need the Console PCB
