We have a whirlpool side by side fridge freezer and it has decided to throw a wobbly (after 4 months).
We noticed the kitchen television was displaying strange interference pattern and I looked up to see that the display on the fridge was going mental. Every single lights was going on and off randomly and the temperature displays were just cycling through every number they could display.
We turned the power off and the interference on the telly stopped, after turning the power back on the fridge operated correctly for an hour before doing the exact same thing again.
Is there anything I can do to fix it or is it an engineer out job?

It’ll be an engineer visit.Sounds like the main board has failed.

I purchased a whirlpool refrigerator/freezer model s20d fss10-a/g.
for the past 7 months the refrigirator/freezer has been acting up. it beeps constantly and when i reset the setting, turn it off for a few hours sometimes a day turn it back on and it doesnt even work.
after much research i’ve realised whirlpool is the worst makethat ever existed hundreds of people are having problems with the ‘american’ brand.
does anyone have any suggestion?| i don’t want to hand over money to a ‘technician’ that would only stare at the fridge for half an hour then demand £200.
if anyone has the same model and problem please share your advise it will be much appreciated!
