    Re: duel cookers

As far as I know as long as you do not break a Gas joint then you are ok, but what would you do if you turned up and smelt Gas or how would you know if there was a problem with the installation/pipework or ventilation? 😕

I no longer carry out repairs to dual fuel cookers, as I cannot carry out the necessary safety tests on the gas side.

I prefer to get a good nights sleep.

Ask your PL insurance how you stand with regard to dual fuel repairs. If they will not pick up the tab if someone is blown to pieces and you have worked (at any time) on the appliance then leave them alone IMO.
