    Hi there

We took delivery of a tall larder fridge yesterday and the delivery men said it would be fine on a carpeted surface. The booklet however says there should be adequate ventilation (10mm) under the fridge so does anyone know what we could use under the fridge to lift it off the carpet?

It had to be on a carpeted surface due to lack of space in the kitchen which has a tiled floor.

I was wondering if pieces of wood along the edges would be ok or would this cause a problem? Or are there any specific products designed for this?

    Many Thanks in advance

The simple solution would be to place the fridge on a plywood plinth. The dimensions the exact width and depth of the appliance, placed on the carpet and slide the fridge onto it. That will ensure adequate ventilation, minimal damage to the carpet and ease of access should maintenance be required. 😉
