    AL10 fault code on a Hotpoint FDW80P, indecates fault on heating circuit, OK, but it heats up to temperture then AL10 appears on the display towards the end of the drying circle. I can’t see anything amiss with the heating circuit, can anybody clear the mist for me please? Also where is the thermistor on these machines? Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the FDW80P, please.

    Looks as though its one with the NTC hard wired to the PCB.

    Will send you schematic.

    Thanks Iadom, now I can see what things are, could’nt figure out where the NTC was, see it now on the board, can’t see how it senses the temperture though.

    It should be clipped to the inner door, sometimes they come adrift which also throws up an error message.
