Thanks nigegt,
Does anybody know the Part No’s for the different cards, this seems bit of a minefield to me. Why do Indesit not supply the card with the module, I’ve got a module for a dishwasher FDW80P on fitting it I get A09 fault code, communication problem, where do you go from here?January 19, 2009 at 4:39 pm #274590helo_75
Participantyour supposed to use servicenet/partfinder to get the right card umber

I didn’t think you needed a smart card for the basic dishwasher 100 bit timer PCB’s ❓
There are two different ones for this model though.
You can get the Partfinder disc direct from Indesit, it costs big time and lasts less than 9 months most of the time. 😥

Thanks iadom, the dishwasher I have a problem with has a plug for the hardware key so I think I do need a smart card and smart card reader. So how do I go about getting Pathfinder?

The later production of this machine appears to have different electronics.
Even after you have obtained the smart card you still need a card reader to use it.
Partfinder is available direct form the Indesit Company 😉
What is the serial number of your machine?
Jim.

As far as I know this model is still using an eeprom, part number C00145652, and module C00143224.

Thanks Flyman, but I think the EEPROM comes “BLANK” so I will still need to programme it.

Eeprom is still listed as available. There is no smartcard available for this model so far.

There is a Tech Buliten out about AL09 errors I cant remember the serial numbers that it relates to but the way around the problem is this.
Ensure the dishwasher is switched off.
Remove the 4 wires that go to the display card, orange in colour.
Switch the dishwasher on for 20 Seconds.
Turn off again.
Remove the eprom.
Reconect the 4 wires going to the display card.
Put the thing back together again and Bobs your aunty.

Thanks all, but I might be acting thick but I will still have to purchase a blank EEPROM, how do I programme it.
The original problem was the dispenser not operating, the soleniod tests OK so I blame the module, then I get into this pickle, brand new module fitted on the machine AO9 appears on the screen, UGH! I can’t see a EEPROM fitted but 8 holes where I think one should be, there started my headache. Thinks order EEPROM,find it on Connect “BLANK” get out of that one. Ofcourse the friendly engineers on Whitegoods will help, please put me straight. -
