Diplomat ..Fan clanging – UK Whitegoods

I have a Diplomat Select double oven 920..and when using the fan oven the noise is dreadful..it clangs and creaks very loudly …thankfully I do have a coventional facility on the oven as well…but I do prefer the fan system..we thought the fan was catching on the front cover ,but it was’nt…any suggestions…Cheers

If the fan is clearing the back and inner panel, there is nothing else but the motor itself. Post up the model number (920 is a generic – we need the the APL/APM—- one) and we’ll try and identify it for you.

It’ll be an hour for the labour charge – you need to discuss this when you contact your repairer as rates vary widely across the country. Use the repairs@ link on the left to find a UKW engineer in your area.
