hello all
i have a problem with our dishwasher bought from ikea. the only program that works is the rinse cycle. on all other cycles i shut the door, a whirring noise sounds (like the pump trying to do something, but cutting out) and then a warning beep sounds twice with about a second in between the two beeps). when i open the door there are a series of ten beeps and the cycle light flashes on and off.
although the manual has quite a comprehensive list of diagnosis light answers, the only thing that happens with my dishwasher is the cycle light flashes.any help anyone can offer would be most appreciated.

you need to cound the number of flashes that you are getting and that will be a fault code. Don’t assume that the lite is just flashing there sould be a pause in the flashes so then count them from there

thank you for your response.
ive just tried it again and it’s flashing again but there doesn’t seem a pattern (ie any stopping), the flashes just seem to be very regular…Re: whirlpool dwf417
that would suggest that its one flash then(f1) flash pause flash pause e.t.c.
f1 is the fault code for a faulty thermistor
