    My Vax 6131 (the orange one!) broke last time I was using it. The bit you hold snapped on the bed just before you connect it to the pipe.

    I looked around and could only find these for £35ish.

    Can anyone recommend a good place (online) where I can source one cheaper, because to be honest I am annoyed with the machine in general so don’t want to spend too much on parts for it.

    Do you mean the bent end??

    If so you will find the complete hose assy cheaper.

    Yes, the bent end.

    But it’s the hose assembly I looked at and it was £30-odd.

    Hi WDK,

    That just looks like a bog standard Vax hose.

    There are a couple of compatibles, a LOT cheaper from this link.

    I also know a lot of the guys that have shops locally (if you have any around you) sell these as well as they are quite a common part.

    Hi, could anybody help me? my orange bucket clip on one side of the motor unit of my Vax 6131 snapped. I have received my new one, but I have no idea where to start in installing the new one! 👿
